Introducing KennStone Walling:

Stowell Concrete's Latest Innovation in Walling Solutions

KennStone Walling is the latest addition to the extensive range offered by Stowell Concrete. Named after our first concrete production facility in North Somerset, KennStone is a reconstituted walling block range developed to replicate natural stone. It combines aesthetic appeal with functional design, suitable for both charming and contemporary properties.


KennStone Walling is available in two distinct finishes: tumbled and split, and comes in 9 different sizes across three course heights: 65mm, 140mm, and 215mm. This variety ensures our walling solutions can fit into any natural environment, blending seamlessly with the surrounding area.

At Stowell Concrete, we prioritise flexibility and service in the supply of our KennStone Walling. Cranmore Buff and Ashcott Grey are the first colours we have manufactured. With other colour variations, and colour blends currently in development, we can work closely with architects, developers, and housebuilders in the design and specification of KennStone properties.

KennStone Walling Patterns

We consulted with the tradesmen available to us at every stage and subsequently designed products that the builders will easily build with.


With the multiple sizes of KennStone blocks available there are a considerable amount of permutations of wall design. To assist with the design and build of KennStone, we have created four pattern designs which can be used as a guide. We can also offer expertise on project requirements and load composition to match any of the four patterns. As products can be susceptible to slight colour variations, it is recommended that when building, products are picked from 3-4 different packs to ensure optimum colour blending.

KennStone A

KennStone A uses 9 sizes, the quoins return every 225mm high course but the rest of the wall is generally very random/ unstructured. The 215mm high products make up approximately 20% of the wall, the 140mm high product approximately 50% and the 65mm approximately 30%.

KennStone B

KennStone B uses all four lengths of 140mm high blocks and the two lengths of 65mm high blocks, generally working together to build 225 courses.

In this design 140mm high products make up approximately 65% of the total wall and 65mm products approximately 35%.

We have created a simple code to denote the height and lengths of our products. Our designs show a wall return approximately 1.8m long and 0.9m high.

KennStone C

KennStone C is similar to KennStone B as it uses all four lengths of 140mm  high units and the two lengths of 65mm high units but also incorporates 215mm units every now and again. In this design 330x215mm units make up approximately 10% of the total wall, 140mm high blocks approximately 65% and 65mm high blocks approximately 25% of the wall.

KennStone D

KennStone D uses the four lengths of 140mm high blocks to build 150mm high courses.

The 330mm long units are especially useful adjacent to corners.



KennStone Reconstituted Walling is now available in project packs, designed for efficient use on a wide range of construction projects. These packs make it easier for builders and contractors to select and use our high-quality reconstituted walling, offering a simple and convenient solution for your next project.

Our project packs are currently available in two colours: Cranmore Buff and Ashcott Grey, and two finishes; tumbled and split, each carefully crafted to replicate the beauty of natural stone. These packs are designed to suit both traditional and modern builds, ensuring seamless integration into any architectural design.


What’s Included in Each Project Pack?

Each pack covers 4.75m² and includes a variety of block sizes for maximum flexibility:


32 pieces: 65mm x 215mm

24 pieces: 65mm x 290mm

32 pieces: 140mm x 215mm

24 pieces: 140mm x 290mm

16 pieces: 140mm x 440mm

8 pieces: 215mm x 290mm


This mix of sizes ensures that your project benefits from both aesthetic variety and practical design efficiency.

All our KennStone products conform to British Standards BS EN 771-5 and have a normalised compressive strength of 22.5N/mm².

KennStone Project packs are available from stock. Please contact our sales team for pricing and samples. Product sample boards are also available in Ashcott Grey or Cranmore Buff both in tumbled and split finish.
